The Ocqueteau Ostrea 700 T-Top has a raised centre console helm position for superb visibility, fitted with twin bucket seats on swivel pedestals, fixed stainless steel T-Top frame and canvas bimini. This display boat is fitted with the additional aft folding cockpit seating and two cockpit tables, foredeck seating pack with sunpad conversion, opening console portlight and additional grabrails. Excellent stowage is provided in the forward cuddy which also offers two small berths for occasional overnight accommodation (cosy for children, tight for larger adults). Two large cockpit lockers and a lazarette provide ample storage for fenders, warps and other deck gear, with a built in live bait/catch well or deep locker concealed at the stern. Engine access via a lifting cockpit cover and removable internal access. Excellent all-round deck access with full walkaround flat deck to bow. This design offers plenty of space for fishing or pleasant day cruising, whilst stowage of windsurfing boards, diving gear or even kayaks is easily managed. Walk-thru transom with swim ladder to optional moulded bathing platform (fitted).
A choice of inboard diesel engines are available to suit individual use. This boat is fitted with the most popular Nanni 205 EVO 200hp diesel engine, however various other options between 150-270hp are also available. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Wheel steering with removable tiller steering. Shaft drive via gearbox to a bronze 4-bladed propeller. Skeg protection. Bow thruster and trim tab options available.

The clever usage of vacuum infusion allows a superior strength to weight ratio over more traditional construction techniques, resulting in improved efficiency, performance and economy. As a direct result Ocqueteau are able to use smaller engines to achieve the same speeds as many competitors and get surprising performance from their shaft driven range, avoiding the need for more complicated sterndrive options.
