Burnham Week

Burnham Week 125th Anniversary event

One of the highlights of the local sailing calendar, the August Bank holiday is always a busy one in Burnham on Crouch. As one of the longest standing sailing regattas in the UK and in it’s 125th year, Burnham Week is still a firm favourite. We would like to wish many of our friends and customers who are taking part, along with our own Ian Scott in the Squib fleet, the best of luck! More information on the history, fleets and competitors can be found on the Burnham Week official website.

Quay Day

Bank holiday Monday is also Burnham Quay Day, a great family event with lots of different things going on. With live music, stalls, activities and other entertainment it is well worth visiting, especially if you have little crew members on board! Details can be found either on the Visit East Anglia website or the Quay Day facebook page.

If you fancy looking around some boats too our Essex office based in Burnham Yacht Harbour, a pleasant stroll (or quick drive) away from the town centre, is open every day except Sunday. We have a great selection of boats on site with more arriving daily for our October Used Boat Show and are happy to offer advice on all aspects of boating. Also on site are Marinestore chandlery who have lots of great clothing deals on at the moment, and the newly relaunched Swallowtail restaurant.
