UK flagged boats fined in Belgium

The RYA have just reported that a number of UK boats have been fined for having red diesel in Belgium. In at least one of these cases the owners were not given the chance to provide receipts. If you have had problems, either in Belgium or elsewhere, please report to boating.abroad@rya.org.uk. Although not yet officially confirmed it would appear that Belgium may be taking a tougher approach to UK flagged boats. It is also possible they are actively targeting them as the likelihood of finding red diesel is very high. See below for a link to the latest RYA news on this:
