Description

The Fisher 25 is a tough and well-built motor sailor that has stood the test of time. They are a safe and sturdy vessel, with a superb amount of space for her size that also offers a comfortable wheelhouse that helps protect you from the elements. Ava Rose has been in her current ownership for the past 14 years and has been thoroughly upgraded and maintained.

Accommodation

Offering up to 4 berths in a compact and well laid interior. Up forward there is a double V-berth with good storage underneath, deck opening hatch and two port holes. Moving aft you have a separate heads compartment to port. Marine toilet. Basin with a hot & cold pressurised water supply. Opposite to starboard there is a large hanging locker. Moving into the saloon you have the linear galley to starboard a Plastimo Neptune two burner gas hob and grill. Microwave. Basin with a pressurised hot & cold water supply. Coolbox. Quarter berth to aft with a pull-out chart table. Opposite to port there is a L shaped single settee berth with a swivelling table. The table can be moved up into the Cockpit. Good stowage lockers around the saloon. Stepping up into the wheel house you have the helm position to port with a drop-down seat. Single seat opposite to starboard. Blue upholstery (new 2019). Curtains. Fitted carpets.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the wheelhouse sole is the Beta Marine 25 hp (2014). 3 cylinders, freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. Approximately 896 engine hours. Shaft driven to a fixed 15-inch 3 bladed propeller. Approximately 181 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Rope cutter. Single lever controls. Annually serviced.

    Built by Fairways Marine in 1974 to a design of Wyatt and Freeman. GRP hull painted in blue. Long keel with an encapsulated ballast. White GRP deck and wheel house. Treadmaster and painted non-slip surfaces. Teak capping to the Bulwarks and rubbing strakes. Transom hung rudder with tiller and wheel steering. Hydraulic steering system. Marine plywood bulkheads. Last surveyed in 2021 with a copy available.
