Accommodation

The accommodation offers 2 berths in one cabin. Open saloon with galley to starboard and heads to port on entry down from the wheelhouse. The seating in the bow can be made into two single V-berths and stowage. Separate heads compartment to port with Jabsco marine toilet. The galley is equipped with a Thetford 2-burner gas hob and sink with stowage below. Wheelhouse consisting of a helm position to port.

Externally there is a large aft cockpit with stowage in various lockers and good access on to the wide side decks. Capstan winch and two rod holders. 

Mechanical Systems

Located in the cockpit under seating is a Perkins T6 354.4 (1974) turbocharged diesel marine engine producing 195hp. Raw water cooled. Dual lever control with electric start. Shaft drive to a 3-bladed bronze propeller.

The engine had a full rebuild in 2020 and has had about 100 hours of running since. It has also had the fuel injectors, fuel pump and water pump replaced.

The boat is fitted with a Sleipner SidePower bowthruster.

Mitchell 31 Mk1 built by Mitchell's, Poole in 1974. Blue GRP hull on wooden frame with non-slip painted decks. Enclosed wheelhouse with sliding door. The boat was surveyed in April 2022 and the report is available to view.
