The Maxi 95 is a cleverly designed family cruiser from the board of Pelle Petersen. They are easily handled, with good performance, and have a light and airy interior with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. The vendors have devoted much time and money on renewals and replacements since 2019 including a new mast and boom, Raymarine navigation equipment, new upholstery, new sprayhood and enclosure, cockpit cushions and much more.

The accommodation offers up to seven berths. There are two sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation with good head room. In the fore cabin, V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to deck. In saloon, two settee berths. The starboard berth converts to a double. Saloon table with engine under. Galley to port. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water supply. 60 litre freshwater capacity. Fridge to cool box. Separate heads compartment to starboard with marine toilet (2010, with holding tank) and wash basin. There is a useful stowage area under the cockpit behind the companionway. Curtained. Carpets in saloon. Curtains. Wallas central heating system. New upholstery ion 2019 and made to measure mattress for forward berth in 2022.
Mechanical SystemsLocated under the saloon table. Yanmar 3YM20 three cylinder 21hp diesel engine, installed new in 2007. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to three bladed propeller. Single lever control. 50 litre fuel capacity in a stainless steel tank. Approximately 180 mile range at 5.5 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 6 knots. The engine has been owner serviced since 2019 including oil, coolant, drive belts and impeller.
Electrical SystemsMasthead Bermudan sloop rig. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Z Spars, new in 2022, deck stepped. Stainless steel standing rigging, new with the mast in 2022. Terylene & Spoectra running rigging, new in 2022. Slab reefing to mainsail with lines led to cockpit. Head sail furling system. Some lines led aft to cockpit. Two Lewmar 40 self tailing control line winches. Secondary coachroof winches.
Built in 1977 by Pelle Petterson AB to their own design. White GRP hull with dark blue sheer strakes. Rubbing strakes. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck. Self draining centre cockpit. Cast iron fin keel. Wheel steering. Skeg hung rudder. The hull was epoxied below the waterline in 2002. Gas locker, 2021. Windows removed and re-installed. Deck hatches replaced, 2020.
Her owners have had her since 2019 and have cruised the East and South coast. They have devoted much time and money on renewals and replacements over this period.
