Description
The Westerly Berwick is a proven, spacious family cruiser. With a long waterline length, they give a good turn of speed, together with good stability. Travelwell has been in the same family ownership since 1983 and has been a much-loved, with endless stories. It is time to find a new owner to continue her adventures at sea!

Accommodation
The accommodation offers up to 6 berths in two cabins. Up forward there is a large V-berth, with an infill. Stowage below. Opening hatch to foredeck. Hanging locker to starboard. The heads compartment is to port with a Lavac marine toilet. Stainless steel washbasin with a pressurised cold water supply and storage under. Opposite to starboard, there is a large hanging locker. Moving aft into the saloon, there is a L shaped dinette to port, with storage under and outboard. Table drops down to make a double berth. The galley is opposite to starboard, with a Flavel Vanessa two burner cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with a pressurised cold water supply. Cool box. Generous storage under and above. Quarter berths to port and starboard. Sliding chart table to port. Blue upholstery throughout. CD/Radio with speakers.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the cockpit floor is the Beta Marine diesel engine. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Electric start. Shaft drive to fixed three bladed propeller. Single lever engine control. Approximately 76 litre fuel tank. We believe that the engine was fitted in the Mid-2000s and is 25hp.

Masthead rigged Bermudan sloop. Deck stepped alloy mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail system. Headsail furling system. Two sheet winches. Two halyard winches. The mast, boom and standing rigging were all new in the mid-2000s.

Westerly Berwick built in 1976 by Westerly Marine Construction to a design by Laurent Giles. White GRP hull with white GRP superstructure and painted non-slip decks. Teak rubbing strakes. Cast iron bilge keels. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Aft self-draining cockpit.
