The Artekho H-35 is a Finnish built cruiser-racer of proven design and respected sailing performance. Bam was built in 1980, this example was displayed at the 1981 London Boat Show. The interior is quite small by modern 35 footer standards, with 5' 10" headroom, but the owners continue to be delighted with her sparkling performance. The boat is particularly easy to sail with a light helm and all lines led aft to the deep safe cockpit. Recent upholstery, head linings, Coppercoat to hull and a new Genoa in 2023.

Accommodation
The accommodation offers five berths (plus two pipe costs) in two cabins with approx 6ft headroom. In the fore cabin, V berth with stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Full width heads compartment with marine toilet and hanging locker opposite. In saloon, two settee berths. It is possible to arrange two extra pilot berths in the saloon if required. Fixed table with drop leaves. Chart table to starboard with quarter berth behind and galley opposite. Plastimo Pacific two burner gimballed butane gas cooker with grill and oven. 2022 gas certificate. Stainless steel sink. Recent white/red leatherette upholstery and head linings.
Mechanical Systems
Located behind the companionway with access from cockpit and under stairs. Yanmar 2GM20 twin cylinder 18hp diesel engine, installed new c1994. Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to Brunton two bladed feathering propeller. Single lever control. 60 litre fuel capacity giving approximately 200 mile range at 6 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7 knots. The engine was last professionally serviced in December 2021. New stern seal in 2020.

Built in 1980 by Artekno Oy, Finland, to a design by Hans Groop. White GRP hull with cove line and red sheer stripe. Recent Coppercoat to hull. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck. Aft self draining cockpit. Lead fin keel. Skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering.
The boat has been fitted with high quality Harken winches and mainsheet system, a Selden self tacking jib system and a Furlex 100S headsail furler. All lines come back to the cockpit for ease of handling.
