Accommodation

Six berths in two cabins with approx. 5'10" headroom. V-berth forward with in-fill for double berth and sliding door. Aft of the forepeak to port is a Jabsco marine toilet with moulded wash basin opposite. Two saloon berths either side of drop leaf saloon table with keel mechanism inside. Galley aft to port with stainless steel sink, Bainbridge Neptune 4500 two burner gas stove with grill and oven, and storage. Chart table to starboard with 12v switch panel and quarter berth aft.

Mechanical Systems

Yanmar 1GM10, single cylinder, 9hp diesel engine fitted new in 2001. Shaft drive via P-bracket to fixed three blade propeller with rope cutter. Seawater cooled. Electric start. Single lever controls. Engine serviced by owner in 2022.

Electrical Systems

Single 12v engine start battery and single 12v domestic battery (both probably in need of replacement). Batteries charged via alternator. Two 240v sockets supplied by shorepower system.

Sails and Spars

Masthead rigged sloop. Z-Spars silver anodised aluminium deck stepped, single spreader mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Stackpack. Spinlock rod kicker. Spinnaker pole. 2 x Lewmar 30 self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x Lewmar 8 halyard winches on coachroof. 2 x Lewmar 6 reefing/halyard winches on mast.

Construction

First 28 built by Beneteau in 1981. Cream GRP hull and decks with moulded-in non-slip surfaces. Cast iron lifting keel operated via a worm drive at the saloon table. Tiller steering to spade hung rudder. Spinlock tiller extension. Timber slats to cockpit seating. Self-draining cockpit.
