A substantial and well built cruiser, the Sunbeam 32 offers spacious interior accommodation that belies her modest length and is similar in style to the LM Mermaid. 'Mira' had a reconditioned engine professionally installed in late 2023 which has only been used briefly since installation. Her aft cockpit benefits from a fixed windscreen, wheel steering and self-tailing winches. While 'Mira' has been little used in recent years and is need of some modernisation, she is in good condition below and will make a solid cruising boat for her next owner.

Construction
Built in 1989 by Schochl Boote to their own design. White GRP hull with blue style stripes. Rubber rubbing strake. White GRP superstructure with teak inlaid deck areas. Fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Aft self-draining cockpit. All seacocks and skin fittings renewed 2014. The hull was shot blasted and epoxied 2022. The teak deck areas have deteriorated to the extent they now need replacement. This does not affect the safety or strength of the vessel, as the teak is inset into recesses in the deck moulding and there are no deck fittings fitted through the teak. In fact the decks have been like this since a survey carried out in 2014. A quote for supplying and fitting new Sea-Deck was obtained in 2023 which totals £7,000 inc. VAT, if the current teak is already removed.
