The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45DS is one of Philippe Briands iconic blue water designs, that boasts superb stability and comfort. Accommodation
The interior is flooded with natural light which is aided by the gorgeous wrap-around windows and oversized portholes. Her interior build is a blend of stainless steel, leather and teak joinery. Up forward is the large guest cabin with a double island berth with good stowage underneath, eye level cupboards and large hanging locker. Deck opening hatch. Single settee to port with the en-suite heads compartment opposite with a marine toilet, basin and shower with a pressurised hot & cold water supply. Moving aft into the saloon, there is a U-shaped settee to starboard, wrapped around the saloon table. Opposite there is a settee in front of the forward-facing chart table with navigation equipment and electrical distribution panel. Plenty of good stowage and ventilation. In the starboard quarter of the saloon, there is a large L shaped galley with a 4 burner gas hob with grill & oven. Two stainless steel sinks with a pressurised hot & cold water supply. Large fridge with a freezer compartment, which has both top and bottom openings. Lots of really useful stowage around the galley. Moving aft past the galley is the full width owners cabin with a large double island berth with single settee seats either side. Plenty of stowage around the aft cabin including two hanging lockers. Ventilation and light are provided by plenty of portholes and opening hatches. En-suite heads compartment that has a marine toilet with a holding tank, basin & shower. Air conditioning. Stereo/CD player. Light blue upholstery made in Sunbrella.
Mechanical Systems
Located behind the companionway stairs is the Yanmar 4JH4E marine diesel engine fitted new in 2008. 54hp, 4 cylinders, freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. Single lever controls. Shaft driven to a folding 3 bladed propeller. 240 litre plastic fuel tank. Annually serviced and last serviced in November 2024.
