The Beneteau Antares 8 is a very capable weekender that offer not only a spacious cabin but also a large cockpit with a full enclosure, removable table and comfortable seating. West Wind is presented in very good condition with brand new flexiteek decking in the cockpit and bathing platforms and her 200hp Suzuki four stroke engine has logged only 112 hours from new. Her bow thruster makes docking her very safe and simple. Two double berths plus the cockpit in a light and airy interior also has a small galley for comfortable over night use.

Accommodation
Entering the accommodation from the cockpit via the alloy framed ?patio? door, there is a dinette to port, seating 4 adult, that converts to a double berth. Opposite and to starboard is the galley with a single burner stainless steel ENO gas hob, sink with pressurised hot and cold fresh water supply and Isotherm front loading fridge plus storage for all galley equipment. Forward of the galley is the helm position with an adjustable bolster type seat and foot rest plus all navigation and electronic controls. The forward seat of the dinette converts to a double navigator seat. Down a step to the forward cabin with a large upholstered double berth with infill piece. The separate heads compartment is to starboard with a marine toilet and basin. Curtains and blinds to all windows and coachroof sliding hatch. Teak deck effect fitted carpets. LED interior lighting. Two slide open side windows. Fusion RA70-N Bluetooth radio with saloon speakers. Cream pvc saloon seating and grey cloth upholstery to sleeping cabin. The cockpit has the seating pack with bench seats (vinyl upholstery), large removable teak table, steps up to the side decks and gate to the transom platform.
Mechanical Systems
Located on transom. Year 2020 Suzuki 200hp, four stroke outboard engine. Stainless steel propeller. Single lever electronic engine control with trim and tilt. Built in 280 litre fuel tank. Hydraulic steering. Trolling mode. The boat cruised comfortably at 21 knots with a maximum speed of some 29 knots (fouling and loading dependant). Last serviced at the end of 2023 and only some 40 hours logged since. SIDEPOWER BOW THRUSTER.
Electrical Systems
Three batteries (engine start, domestic and bow thruster) all 2020. Charging via engine alternator and 240V shore power charger. 240V shore power with charger, sockets and immersion heater for hot water.

Flexiteek teak effect synthetic cockpit and transom platforms (fitted in 2024). Six alloy mooring cleats. Door to transom platform. Last surveyed in 2022.
