Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to six berths in two cabins. V berth forward with stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Full width heads compartment with marine toilet with holding tank, washbasin and hanging locker. In saloon, dinette to port converting to double berth. Single settee berth opposite. Opening hatch to deck. Chart table to starboard with quarter berth behind and galley opposite. Two burner gimballed Plastimo gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink. Approximately 72 litre freshwater capacity with a carbon filter. Blue velour upholstery to the saloon with vinyl covers (New 2024). Diesel fired cabin heater (new 2024).

Mechanical Systems

Located abaft the companionway, Yanmar 2GM20F, twin cylinder 18hp diesel engine. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive to three bladed fixed propeller. New GRP Stern tube, fitted by French Marine. Single lever control. Approximately 72 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Last serviced January 2023 (Engine serviced at the beginning and end of each season.)

Construction

Built in 1982 to a design by David Sadler. Blue painted GRP hull with style stripes. Teak toe rail. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to decks. Long fin keel with encapsulated ballast. Skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self draining cockpit. Teak cockpit grating. Teak cockpit seating (new 2004). The hull was treated for osmosis and epoxied below the waterline costing over £10,000.
