This Cornish Shrimper 19 is another fantastic little sailing boat built for the exploration of the British coast line. "Samphire" was built in 2011 and has just had a full cut and polish.

Accommodation
The Cornish Shrimper has a simple and versatile layout. Up forward is a double V berth with an in-fill over the marine toilet The saloon has benches to port and starboard which can be utilised as extra sleeping space. Single gas burner stove.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the cockpit sole is the 2011 Yanmar 1GM10 marine diesel engine. Single cylinder, 9hp, direct cooling, shaft driven to a fixed 2 bladed propeller. Single lever controls. 18 litre fuel tank.

Fractional rigged gaff sloop. Deck stepped wooden mast and boom with tabernacle. Stainless steel standing rigging (2011). Terylene running rigging. Wooden bowsprit. One Harken winch. Headsail furling system.

Built by Cornish Crabbers LLP in 2011. Dark green GRP hull. Two tone white & parchment GRP decks. Iron punchings encapsulated in resin inside the hull keel moulding. A galvanised steel centerplate forms part of the ballast. Copper coated under the waterline. Transom hung rudder made from laminated plywood.
