The Cornish Shrimper has a simple and versitile layout. Up forward is a double V berth with an in-fill over the marine toilet. In the saloon, you have a basin and cupboard to port and a 2 ring gas burner to starboard. There are two single berths in both quarters of the boat. Fusion stereo system.
Mechanical SystemsLocated under the cockpit sole is the 2019 Yanmar 1GM10 marine diesel engine. Single cylinder, 9hp, direct cooling, shaft driven to a fixed 2 bladed propeller. Single lever controls. 28 litre fuel tank. Hours unrecorded (minimal usage) and serviced in October 2023.
Electrical SystemsFractional rigged gaff sloop. Deck stepped Sitka wooden mast and boom with tabernacle. Stainless steel standing rigging (2019). Terylene running rigging. Wooden bowsprit. Two harken winches. Headsail furling system.
Built by Cornish Crabbers LLP in 2019 and first launched in July 2020. Navy Blue GRP hull. Two tone white & parchment GRP decks. Iron punchings encapsulated in resin inside the hull keel moulding. A galvanised steel centerplate forms part of the ballast. Copper coated under the waterline. Transom hung rudder made from laminated plywood.
