This is a very well equipped yacht with a comprehensive array of navigational and safety equipment. Fitted with the 30HP engine, bow thruster, three-blade propeller and rope cutter. Two owners from new with the last owner has owned the yacht since 2009. The yacht is currently ashore, always is kept ashore over winter.
The Southerly 110 offers 7 berths in 3 cabins. The Forward Cabin has double base extension & cross over higher berth. Full-length shelf to port. Hanging locker to starboard. Access to the chain locker through forward bulkhead. Two fixed hull ports. Opening deck hatch.
The Saloon with 6'6" headroom has a dinette seating arrangement to port, Stainless steel mast support and large saloon table. Full-length single settee to starboard. Stowage under the settee, with front access. Bottle stowage. Fitted blinds.
The Galley is raised to port. It has twin stainless steel sinks, hot and cold pressurised water, 12v Fridge. Fully gimballed gas cooker with two burners, grill and oven, Waste bin below the worktop and large opening lockers, drawers. Blue upholstery throughout. CD/Radio with cockpit speakers.
The Navigation area with chart table is to starboard with excellent visibility through pilothouse windows. It has an instrument console forward of the chart table. Chart stowage under the hinged lid with book stowage below. The navigation seat has a stainless steel grab rail. Large storage under seat. Chart light. Main switch panel. Overhead deck light
The Heads compartment is to starboard of the companionway. With opening hatch under sprayhood, Jabsco marine head with a hinged seat to cover. Washbasin, shower head/mixer tap. Hot and cold pressurised water heated by clarifier and 240V immersion heater. Stowage under and outboard. Shower fixing. Electric shower pump. Grating to shower tray. Mirror. Fixed light.
The owners Aft Cabin has a large double berth offset to starboard, hanging locker to starboard, large vanity unit to port with draws underneath, shelved wardrobe. Two drawers, Locker, Large drawer under forward end of double berth. Two fixed hull ports. Two opening ports to cockpit plus opening hatch under spray hood. Door to en-suite facilities. Access aft through the bulkhead to the steering gear.
The Southerly 110 is powered by the Yanmar 3GM30 30HP diesel engine last serviced March 2018. Lots of service history. Cruise speed 5.5 knots, top speed 7.5 knots. Three blade bronze propeller. Electro-Hydraulic keel lift. Stainless steel 40-gallon fuel tank. Vetus Bow thruster 4HP with touchpad control by the helm.
2 x 12V 115Ah domestic batteries, new 2018 and 1 x engine start battery 110Ah charging from engine alternator and via a 240V ring main, immersion heater & Sterling battery charger.
This Southerly 110 is fitted with a Selden Mast and Boom with bottle screw covers. Standing rigging was fitted in 2004. It has a battened mainsail with slab reefing with lazy jacks, “stack-pack” cover, furling genoa on a Furlex forestay.
