Cruising Association Conference – We DO mean to go to sea!
Do you have a boat already and want to learn more about any aspect of boating? Or maybe you would like to get afloat but need more information first? Either way the Cruising Association Conference can help!
March 11th 2018 will see a unique new event hosted by the Woolverstone Project in association with the Cruising Association supported by Fox’s Marina and Boatyard and the Royal Harwich Yacht Club. The Cruising Conference will be a one day celebration of cruising hosted at the Royal Hospital School in Holbrook, Suffolk. During the day there will be keynote speeches from prominent sailors, workshops run by experts in their field (individuals and marine companies), demonstrations and exhibitions. This innovative new event will inspire you to get more from your cruising and by attending you will be giving disabled people the opportunity to enjoy getting afloat, as all profits raised from the Cruising Conference will go directly to the Woolverstone Project to provide sailing sessions for the disabled.
Amongst the many different talks our own Duncan Lougee will be holding an informative, educational but light hearted talk on the perils and pitfalls of buying or selling a boat (and how to avoid them)! See below for links to the various different workshops that you may wish to book:
