Located under the companionway steps, Yanmar 2GM20 (1988) 18hp 2 cylinder diesel engine. Sea water cooled. Single lever controls with electric start, with emergency hand starting capacity. Shaft drive to a fixed 3 bladed propeller. 12 volt domestic battery. 12 volt engine start battery. Alternator charging.

Construction

Masthead Bermudan sloop. Deck stepped aluminium mast and boom with slab reefing mainsail and Rotostay RO6 furling headsail. Masthead wind direction indicator. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. All halyards led aft. Deck clutches. Spinnaker pole. Four sheet winches, 3 halyard winches. Mainsail and Genoa. Moulded by Tyler and fitted out by Burnes Shipyard Ltd in 1970. White GRP hull with style stripes. Hull epoxied. White GRP deck and coachroof with grey moulded non-slip decks. Encapsulated iron ballast fin keel. Tiller steering to a skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit.

Accommodation

Offering 5 berths in a traditional layout with approximately 5'10 headroom. Up forward there is a double V berth with an infill. Good stowage and deck opening hatch. Heads to starboard with a marine toilet. Hanging locker opposite to port. In the saloon there are two single settee berths and a quarter berth to starboard. Galley in the port quarter with a stainless steel sink, manually pumped cold water & a Flavel two burner gas hob and grill. Red vinyl upholstery.
