Accommodation

The accommodation offers five berths in two cabins. In the forecabin there is a V berth with stowage under.  Opening hatch to deck.  Separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet and washbasin.  Hanging locker opposite.  In saloon, settee berth to port with galley and quarter berth opposite with hinging chart table over.  Saloon table raises to the deck head for more space or lowers to make a double berth.  Two burner gas hob with grill and oven.  Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water supply.  40 litre freshwater capacity.

There is over 6ft 5in headroom in the saloon. Very light and airy interior. Light brown vinyl upholstery. 

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway with excellent access. Reconditioned Beta 25hp marine diesel engine. Full overhaul in 2022. Three cylinders. Fresh water cooled. Shaft drive. Dual lever engine controls. 60 litre fuel capacity in steel tank. Approx 5 knots cruising speed. The engine has completed some 50 hours since refurbishment and was last serviced in late 2023.

Construction

Built in 1973 by Fairways Marine to their own design.  Dark blue painted GRP hull (repainted 2022).  Teak rubbing strakes.  Teak toe rails.  White GRP superstructure with grey Treadmaster to decks and painted coachroof decks.  Aft self draining cockpit.  Transom hung rudder.  Tiller steering.  Long keel with encapsulated cast iron ballast.

Recent refit included: New portholes, new forehatch, hull respray, epoxy to under water on hull, reconditioned engine, new propeller - approx £10,000 spent. In a previous ownership she spent some 25 years under cover.
